Video Secrets' pricing has always been on the high end. Typically, it would cost a chatter $6/min. to take a model private.

While this led to some great commissions on the webmaster end of things, the conversions were more infrequent than other programs.

Well, it looks like Video Secrets excellent program is going to get better. They have just announced that they are going to start an experiment allowing models to pick cheaper per minute rates, the lowest being $4/min.

I think this is great news. Video Secrets has some of the best sets of promo tools available and I've never had a problem driving traffic to them, but conversions never matched up to other programs. I believe a lot of that had to do with sticker shock from the customer. I believe by allowing the model to set her price (heck, I say give them options down to $2/min.) we'll start seeing an increase in conversions.

It's always been our goal to provide our customers with great service, at a great value, which in turn means better conversions and higher commissions for our affiliates. As you probably are aware, we have historically charged $6.00 per minute of private chat.

We are now introducing more flexibility in our pricing, to allow our models more control over their rooms. Models will be able to price their standard shows between $4.00/min - $6.00/min (in $0.50 increments), multi-user chat between $4.00/min - $9.00/min, and premiere chat between $7.00/min - $9.00/min.

These changes should result in more new traffic being converted into paying customers, and create a better "buzz" in the chat rooms in general. As with all of our changes, we believe slow and steady wins the race, which is why we are limiting it to 15% of live girls and 15% of live guys to be able to have shows under $6.00/min.

If our tests are successful, we will then scale it up, and provide affiliates with more tools to target these specific rooms. If you have any questions about these changes, please let us know.
